Enjoy nature at the highest level

The Rauriser forest is one of the most beautiful forests of the Eastern Alps. Dark moor-pools as well as long Moss and lichen denim on ancient pine and spruce are among the forest’s specialties. In the middle of the wide Valley lies the big stonebuilt Naturfreundehaus Kolm-Saigurn, surrounded by high mountains. Through the meadowland of this high alpine settlement, the Hüttwinklache flows its way.

The Sun view base Naturfreundehaus Kolm Saigurn is located in close proximity to Austria's highest mountain, the Grossglockner. It is therefore an ideal starting point for hikes and tours in the high mountains, but also for alternative and relaxing tours. The settlement of the Sun view base consists the Naturfreundehaus, the Carpenter House, a chapel and a bathing lake with Kneipp facility and a Miners Museum of the National Park Hohe Tauern.
